The city of Kolkata is close to my heart, every time I think about the city a picture with the mighty Hooghly, the area around Esplanade, the yellow and black cabs,the cycle rickshaws crops up in my head. It definitely is a beautiful picture and the magic cast by the place is something that has been eternal ever since my first visit some two decades ago. With its strong cultural roots, Kolkata has an aura that one cannot easily escape.

I visited the city very lately and well the capital city of West Bengal managed to entice me all over again. Unlike my trips to the city in my younger years, I was in the city for business this time. Kolkata is not only a geographical entity but an experience of its own kind and if one is visiting metropolitan cities in India, it should be one of the cities in your itinerary.
As always, the gastronomic experience in the city swept me off my feet but what made my trip memorable is the hotel that I checked into in the city. I stayed at The Park located in the heart of the city. It can easily claim to be one of the finest among the Kolkata Luxury Hotels I felt I landed in the lap of luxury.
The décor of the hotel was interesting and it was a perfect hub for nocturnal beings like me to unite. My gastronomic journey covered new milestones in this opulent sojourn and I will forever remain indebted to the restaurants in the hotel. Luxury Hotels in Kolkata like The Park have carved a niche for them in the International Tourist Map, which was manifested by the number of foreigners staying in the hotel. The spa proffered a rejuvenating experience and prepared me in its own way to take on life. I look forward to a trip to one of my favorite cities in the world as well as checking into one among the classiest Kolkata’s Luxury Hotels.
