Work takes you to places and I feel blessed to have a job that fulfills one of my passions which is travelling. I have been to different parts of the world on work assignments and this time around I was asked by my company to visit Chennai for a very important conference. Although I have been to Chennai before, it was only for a short visit and that too about a decade ago. My tickets were booked and hotel reservations were done and I was all set to explore the city after 10 long years. Since I love beaches I decided to turn my business trip into a leisure one also which is why I took a leave of 2 more days to spend some more time in the city.

On the particular day, I landed in Chennai and the city welcomed me with a bright sunny day. I knew that my accommodation was booked in the Pride Plaza Hotel and I was also told by my colleagues that it was one of the best hotels in Mount road Chennai. I reached the hotel at around 1 pm and I was greeted warmly by the hotel staff. I must admit that in the last 10 years Chennai has developed a lot more and is no less than any global city. I was escorted to my room and I was very satisfied to find that my room was indeed a classy one with latest modern amenities. Pride Plaza Hotel treated me well with its sumptuous food and prompt hospitality and they did impress me to choose them as my most preferred choice of hotel in Chennai, the next time I visit the city.
