We have a huge bucket list of the places we would want to travel, across India. It was time to tick another city out! Chennai, the city of beaches, dosas and jasmine flowers was calling out to us. Since we were travelling with our kids, comfortable stay always is our top priority. We started searching for 3 star Hotels in Chennai and ended up booking Pride Hotel Chennai! My son often falls ill during long travels, so we looked for Hotels in Chennai near Apollo Hospital but Pride excelled in all our pre-requisites.
We reached the hotel late night but were greeted warmly by the hotel staff. Our kids were given chocolates and we were led to our rooms. The next day, we had chalked out a long plan to cover almost all the major attractions of Chennai, be it the Marina beach or the Murugan Idli Kadai (Murugan Idli Shop, go there to taste to goodness of cotton like idlis and spicy chutneys!). Every now and then we encountered different beaches and our kids went crazy over making the sandcastles, something that they don’t get to do in a city life. A good break from the usual building blocks…! Our 4 day stay was made all the more remarkable by Pride’s impeccable hospitality services. Their in house restaurant, Puran da Dhaba delighted us with authentic Punjabi food, couldn’t have asked for more! I will be making another trip soon and book my stay with Pride Hotel again!
